To the Ordinary World

Not a bad little weekend. Effectively, Saturday was my first day off in a while (not that working the Super Bowl was all that taxing on me), and I pulled a Peter Gibbons in Office Space. I did nothing, and it was everything I hoped it could be. The only person who could have possibly done less that me was the Schwag, who slept from Noon til the next day. Let's say he had a fun Friday.

But on to Sunday. After Phil won his second consecutive tournament, Joseph and I made our way downtown to see Duran Duran in concert. They were playing at the Arena, and only managed to bring in about 8,000. I don't know if it's Duran Duran or Jacksonville, but either way, it was hardly packed. Joe and I had no one around us. But all in all, good times. And London Bridge Pub was the site of yet another scene by yours truly of having too much frosty adult beverage, and making a frost adult fool of myself.

Til the next time, stay hungry like the wolf across the Rio Grande when you come undone.
